The objectives of the Festival

A multidisciplinary and international Festival

We wish to participate in Saint-Étienne cultural life’s by proposing a cultural event open to a wide audience, and would like to contribute to the touristic attraction of our region. The Festival des 7 Collines also aims to present the most innovative performers of our time.

Artists deeply involved in their art, who shake up the codes and reinvent what a live show is. With a resolutely modern (which does not mean elitist), multidisciplinary and international programming, we want to privilege rich and unusual encounters in the fields of dance, circus and performance.

The festival focuses in particular on the new forms of contemporary circus, and seeks to give them a singular visibility through a program of residencies and circus workshops.

Companies in residency.

We offer to companies based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes one or several times in residency alongside technical and financial inputs to support them in their creative journey. We also want to associate the public by showing works in progress during the festival.
